My Baby isn't a Baby!

My big boy holding his underwear

Rainer is so big now. At the end of November he will be 2 1/2. I can tell that he is my baby because I have dragged my feet about different things with him that I didn't drag my feet on with the other two.

I finally had to set a date for toilet training him, because I kept putting it off and putting it off. On October 12th I made arrangements to finally toilet train him. I had a friend pick up Mason and Amanda from school and bring them home later that afternoon. I spent the morning and the early afternoon working with him. I really like the method that I use. I'm so glad that my sisters told me about it. The book is called "Toilet Training in Less than a Day". It really does take less than a day. I took two days with Rainer because I didn't get to start as soon as I wanted (I had to take my car in to get the brakes fixed--the master brake cylinder was shot and there was no brake fluid). So, by the time Mason and Amanda came home, I was almost done with Rainer but they were too much of a distraction for him for me to continue. It only took a little bit of instruction the next day for me to be done.

This past Tuesday was the week mark of him being accident free! We are so proud of him and he loves his new found ability. My baby isn't a baby anymore!
