Yesterday I went to the San Bernardino County Museum with my Bear Den. The Museum has a lot of collections. The first collection we went to was gadgets and gizmos. They had a lot of stuff that is really old. They had two typewriters, an old vacuum, a hair dryer from the 1940's and a replica of one of the first televisions.
Then we went downstairs where they had earthquake preparedness stuff and a lot of cars and carts before they had cars. Mostly carts. Down there we also got to design a house from building blocks to see if it would hold out against an earthquake. Mine stood out the most because it hardly even moved. Next we went to mammal hall where they had a lot of stuffed mammals.
After that it was time to leave so we went to get ice cream. Almost everybody picked root beer floats. It was a great day. (I took all of these pictures with my own camera.)

We have been to that museum several times. In May we took our cub scouts. The cub master had gone the week before and made a scavenger type activity for the scouts. They had to find the various things in the museum that were on his list. It was very fun. I'm glad you had a good time.
