The food was good (a nice turkey and/or ham dinner complete with everything that goes with it). And the entertainment was really good. It was a group of singers called the Dave Elliot Five. It's kind of a small world because I know Dave Elliot from Orange County and one of the singers happens to be his daughter, so she and I kind of know each other too.
It was fun hanging out with friends and listening to some good music. We gave Rainer our old digital camera and let him take pictures all night long.
He had a blast and most of the pictures turned out really good.
Of course there were some that were of fingers,
or the backside of Mason's head,
or the posterior of Robert, but after all--he is only 2. =)
Rainer also took about 20 shots of one woman.
She was sitting across from us at the table and Rainer loved taking pictures of her. We don't even know who she is, but she was friendly and nice.
At the end of the night, Santa came to visit.
Amanda and Rainer sat on his lap.
But Mason is too old to do that anymore.

ReplyDeleteSo who in your ward has connections to the Dave Elliot Five? All of the singers are from our stake and three of the five singers are in our ward. They sang at our ward Christmas party also.
