Mason's First Winter Concert

On Thursday the 10th Mason had his first concert for the month of December. This was the concert done by the regular band. It consisted of the bands from his school and two other elementary schools in the district. According to his teacher this is the group that will go to the same middle school next year.

Mason's teacher has said he really enjoys having Mason in the group because of his versatility. Here is an example of what they played.

Tomorrow night Mason has another concert with the Honor Band. He will be playing Tuba during that concert. His music teacher has also asked that he play with the other regular elementary school band tomorrow night, it is composed of the the other two elementary bands in the district. His teacher would like to have some one playing the Tuba to help the band sound fuller. We are proud of the dedication that Mason is putting into his music. He really enjoys it. He is still keeping up with the trumpet and the piano at home as well. Right now he is thinking he wants to play tuba next year when he goes to the middle school. I think he likes the idea of playing the Sousaphone. I will probably post some of the music from the other concerts over in the mp3 list next week.
