The New Neighborhood Jewelry Store

Mason and Amanda have decided that they want to make some extra money here in the waning days of summer. Sheila (who loves to scrapbook and is an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up!) went to a convention and was given a box with hundreds of bits and pieces with which to make jewelry. Since she had no use for it, she gave it to Amanda and she and Mason have been making necklaces and have set up a little stand in the front yard. They were not having much success until Mom put together a sign for them.

Within in minutes of putting up the sign, they had their first sale and made five dollars from selling two necklaces. Here is a picture of their first customer. Sorry the picture is from so far away, but I did not want to scare off their first customer.

Needless to say they are both thrilled with their new found success. Look out Aunt Connie, you have some new competition in the family.

  1. How cute is that? I remember being little and setting up a vegetable stand... I don't remember if we sold anything though...

  2. They actually earned $8.60. They split the profits and plan to continue to put it up =).
