A Recipe of My Own Creation

I haven't posted any recipes on my blog for two reasons. One, I didn't want Sheila thinking that I was copying her idea. And two, most of my recipes come from other people, so you would most likely have the recipe already. But a couple of months ago, I made my own recipe--and it's really good.

It starts off by using turkey leftovers. It came about because I didn't know what to make for dinner one night, so I was looking through my fridge and saw that we still had turkey. I used Amy's turkey recipe so I had plenty of yummy turkey juice (for lack of a better word) left over. I saw that I had potatoes, onions, and carrots so I got those out too. I cut my turkey into bite-sized pieces, chopped up the potatoes, onions and carrots, and put them all into my wok-sized frying pan. I added the turkey juice and seasoned the mixture with garlic salt. I let it cook until the vegetable chunks were cooked.

I don't know if it is more of a turkey stew or a turkey hash, but whenever I make it my kids actually cheer when they find out they are having it for dinner.
